ENERGY LABELLING OF HOT WATER HEATERS
The Mandate 324 concerning energy labelling of water heaters has now been approved. It is connected to the Council Directive 92/75/EEC concerning energy labelling of household appliances (you might have seen this colourful A,B,C,.. labelling on fridges, washing machines, etc.). So now also labelling of water heaters - no matter what type - will appear in the (near) future. For this reason the standards for the different types (gas, oil, heat pump, solar, ... -water heaters) should be as comparable as possible.
