Communication and Dissemination
The promotion work on quality assurance was the focus of one of the work areas.
Important developments occurred in the promotion of quality assurance and solar thermal certification in CEE & SEE countries. Contacts were established, information materials produced and workshops held in these countries. Partners from these countries were involved in the project, participated in the Solar Keymark Network and prepared reports and presentations about quality assurance in their countries.
A lot of critical work was done to promote the European concepts and experience with quality assurance in solar thermal beyond European borders. Regarding the international work on standardization, the coordination with ISO and with IEA-SHC Task 43 (global certification) had a strong impact on international standardization.
