First international brochure “Solar Heat for Industry” published

Date: 31 May 2017
Category: Solar Heat News

The Solar Payback project just published the international brochure „Solar Heat for Industry“ for investors and policy makers. The 20-page leaflet, available in English and Spanish, presents facts and figures about solar process heat in dispicted charts and illustrates the various advantages and the great potential for manufacturing businesses.

Additionally, the publication provides a world map with solar process heat system suppliers worldwide together with their number of already realised turnkey solar process heat plants. Best practice examples and statements of satisfied customers illustrate the application options in manufacturing businesses and motivate future customers to invest in SHIP (Solar Heat for Industrial Processes) technologies.

As part of the International Climate Initiative the new project Solar Payback, initiated in 2016 by the German Solar Association (BSW-Solar), aims at incrasing deployment of SHIP in four partner countries: South Africa, Brazil, India and Mexico. Solar Payback focuses on an in-depth analysis of market barriers and drivers by drafting national solar potential studies and making policy recommendations. In addition, it intends to strengthen the industry by offering training for planners and raise awareness by facilitating the installation of SHIP demonstration plants
