Date: 20 Feb 2017Category: Solar Heat News
The renewable energy division of the International Energy Agency organised a workshop dedicated to renewable heating and cooling. This event, supported by the Finnish Government, took place in Paris, on the 7th of February.
Its main purpose was to gather key policymakers, industry and experts in order to identify policy success factors, as well as challenges that need to be addressed for the strongest uptake of renewable heating and cooling.
ESTIF was represented by its Secretary-General, which presented the Strategic Policy Priorities, developed in cooperation between different stakeholders from trade associations, energy agencies and other experts, in the framework of the FROnT project.
IEA wants to use this workshop as a starting point for a deeper reflection on the promotion of low carbon solutions for heating and cooling, guiding their future work on the topic.
