RHC-ETIP annual event: Innovation in the Renewable Heating and Cooling sector

Session 1 – 20 June

On 20 June, during the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating & Cooling (RHC-ETIP) will held its annual event in Brussels, Belgium at the office of CENELEC from 10.00 to 13.30, followed by an afternoon session for meetings of the different Technology Panels from 14.00 to 17.00.

The event will bring together stakeholders from the solar thermal, biomass, geothermal, heat pump sectors and from the related industries (district heating and cooling, thermal energy storage, hybrid systems). It aims to unlock the potential of the RES-HC sector by promoting discussion on conditions to increase innovation in the RHC-sector, by defining a common strategy for increasing the use of renewable energy technologies, highlighting common research and development priorities, reflecting on the SET Plan and the Clean Energy Package and by providing opportunity to present innovative projects from the sector.

The event is open to all interested stakeholders.

Registration is free of charge but mandatory.

In order to register for this session please fill in and submit this online form.

Session 2 – 21 June

On 21 June, the second session of the RHC-ETIP annual event will take place at the EUSEW from 16.00 to 17.30 at the Residence Palace with flash presentations of innovative projects from the different RES-HC sectors: biomass, district heating, geothermal, heat pumps, hybrid systems; solar thermal, thermal energy storage.

To register for this session, please follow the official registration process on the EUSEW website.

Call for innovative projects

The RHC-ETIP offers possibility for innovative projects to be presented at its annual event. The deadline for application is 22 May. 1 project will be selected for each of the 7 technology categories:

  • Biomass
  • District heating and cooling
  • Geothermal
  • Heat pumps
  • Hybrid systems
  • Thermal energy storage
  • Solar thermal heating and cooling

The event provides both visibility and possibility for networking. Please find here the application form.
