ESTIF Board holds second meeting of the year

Date: 31 Mar 2016
Category: Solar Heat News

The ESTIF Board held its second meeting of the year, on the 28th March. One of the main topics covered in this meeting was the follow-up of the last Solar Keymark Network, namely the ongoing complaint procedure, the changes to the SKN working rules related to the complaint process and other topics, such as the outcomes of the Solar Certification Fund.

The other main topics on the agenda were those related to the ESTIF priorities for 2016, namely policy, energy labelling and membership. The discussion under Policy focused on the follow-up on the heat strategy and the upcoming review of the Energy efficiency, energy performance of buildings and RES Directives. As for Energy Labelling, it covered an update on the review of the Energy Labelling Directive, an update on Labelpack A+ project, a debriefing on the work within ESTESC and on the collector label. As for membership, the main topic was the ongoing membership campaign. The rebranding process was also addressed, as well as the usual update on ESTIF activities since the last Board of Directors meeting.

This was a webmeeting, which has the same decision capacity than conventional meeting, though these are carried out online and have a shorter duration (2h). These webmeetings of the ESTIF Board allow for more regular meetings without the inconveniences of travelling.

The minutes will be available at the Member-only section of the ESTIF website when approved. For further details please contact: pedro.dias(at)estif.org
