Post-COP21 business-led letter to European and Environment Councils

Within an initiative designed by the European Alliance to Save Energy (EU-ASE), 70 enterprises and organisations in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors gathered their efforts to ask for the recognition of the huge EU economic and social potential of a proper interaction between energy efficiency and renewable energy, to be fully embedded in the EU climate and energy policies.
The group demands a coherent revision of the sectorial legislation to strengthen the EU strategy towards a low-carbon economy by envisaging ambitious binding targets and measures for both energy efficiency and renewable energy.
