A month before the next European Council meeting, ESTIF and other RES associations send a clear message to the EU institutions.
At its meeting on 23 October, the Council is expected to adopt an official position on the Commission’s proposal for future EU climate and energy policies. In a letter to the EU Heads of State and Government, the European RES sector expressed its concerns about the mixed signals given in the latest EU initiatives regarding the energy sector, especially in connection with heat supply.
