Joint Renewables Open Letter on Europe's energy security to Presidents Barroso and Van Rompuy

On 15 May, the Energy Ministers will meet informally to discuss Europe's dependence on fossil fuels, particularly in relation to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
In that context, the European renewable energy associations have sent today a joint Open Letter to the European Commission President Barroso and the European Council President Van Rompuy. The letter insists on the great role that renewables can play as part of a new strategy for Europe's energy security and the importance to adopt ambitious 2030 renewable energy objectives.
