Energy Performance of Buildings Directive: a policy update

As the review of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive has been set as the priority for the current Maltese Presidency of the EU Council, works on this dossier are proceeding full steam ahead in the Council working parties, and might lead to a general agreement in the Council by early June.

On the Parliament side, works are proceeding more slowly, as the report is being hammered out by Danish MEP Bendtsen from the S&D group, while many shadow rapporteurs did not yet start working...
