THE EUROPEAN SOLAR DAYS 2015
The European Solar Days promote the use of a free unlimited renewable energy source available everywhere to everyone to generate electricity as well as heating and cooling: the SUN.
These days have been successfully celebrated in an increasing number of countries, organised by diverse organisations, ranging from solar equipment manufacturers to schools and local authorities.
In 2013 around 6000 events were held in 20 European countries.
For more information visit the European Solar Days website.
SOLAR KEYMARK: A CERTIFICATION SCHEME FOR EUROPE
The Solar Keymark is widely recognised in solar thermal support programmes throughout Europe.
The mark certifies the conformity of a solar thermal collector or system to the relevant European Standards
(EN 12975 or EN 12976).

A STRATEGIC RESEARCH AGENDA FOR SOLAR THERMAL
Back in 2005 a group of industry experts and ambitious researchers realised Solar Thermal Technologies needed an improvement on its Research strategy. It was during the 2nd European Solar Thermal Energy Conference that the European Solar Thermal Technology Platform (ESTTP) was launched.
ESTTP's main goal is to make even better solar thermal products, able to work in more applications. Solar Thermal can be used for much more than just heating houses or sanitary water.
